I just finished composing a short email for my boss re another graduate program that I’d like to pursue. I’m actually not asking his permission coz I’ve already made up my mind about this. Since it’s more likely that I won’t be able to finish my thesis in the College of Education because my adviser went abroad, I decided to apply for another M.A. degree in the School of Labor and Industrial Relations. This is with the help of my former co-faculty Roel Malubay, who is also pursuing MA in Industrial Relations. (I owe a lot to this guy coz he was the one who encouraged me to finish and submit all the requirements needed. I know I’ll be able to make it all up to him someday.)
I’m completely aware that I have a lot of CFE projects/programs under my wing but I still firmly believe that nothing should stop me from pursuing further education most especially if it will benefit my future career. Honestly, I feel that I’m making the right decisions. I just hope that what I feel is really right. *fingers crossed*
