… though I don’t have one.
Because DJ and I were at Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall yesterday to have his SE P1i phone open line, I had the time to marvel over SE G900 –a Sony Ericsson phone that’s way way thinner than my N95 8gb phone. This is the reason why last night, I went home with a hole in my heart.
I want THAT SE 5mp phone!
Reasons why I want to have a new phone:
1. I couldn’t set up my yahoo and office mail in my phone. I can only open my Gmail account in my phone so I resort to opening my emails (and Dj’s) thru my iPod touch.
2. I couldn’t easily surf the web so again, I use iPod touch for that.
3. DJ and Jo are using SE phones.
4. It’s bulky. As bulky as PDA phones when in reality, it really isn’t.
So to convince myself more that I need (not just want) a new phone, I searched the net for SE phones that have 5mp (or up) camera. I believe that the prime reason why I can’t live without my current phone is that I’m a certified camwhore. And I want my cellphone, camera and mp3 player all in just one gadget so I don’t need to bring a lot of things outdoors.
Here are the results of my search from GSM Arena.
1. SE K850 - a bit thick and looks manly
2. SE C902 - it has small display… and i don’t think it’s a good music phone
3. SE G900 – screen looks too small for me according to DJ; and even if red’s my fave color, i always wanted my phone to be classic black; scratch this…
4. SE W902 - a 5mp walkman phone with push email? this is THE phone! expected to be released Q4 this year… read: very good birthday gift for me 
5. SE C905 – more like a N95 8gb phone PLUS an 8mp camera MINUS 8gb memory (comes with only 2gb memory but it’s not bad at all); if it’s not too pricey, this can also be an option; expected to be released same time as SE W902
So my verdict? I’m sticking to my N95 8gb phone until either SE W902 or SE C905 comes out.
Reasons why I should keep my phone:
1. SE W902 is not yet out in the market. Hehe.
2. It’s 8gb, mehn!
3. It has a Search option. You know, just like in laptops where you use the Search option to find the file you just saved a minute ago. Hehe.
4. I only got this phone months ago. I still have yet to optimize its features.
5. Stock market’s down. Best time to invest in stocks, not in cellphones. Hehe.
